Patient navigation is designed to assist individuals affected by cancer to overcome barriers to timely, high-quality diagnosis, treatment, supportive, and follow-up care. The goal of patient navigation is to ensure that individuals receive the care they need throughout their cancer trajectory, reducing disparities in health outcomes and enhancing the overall patient experience. This webinar aims to broaden the landscape of patient navigation in cancer care and underscore the importance of access to psychosocial oncology support as a universal right.
