The Moffitt Cancer Center is seeking a psychologist at the Assistant or Associate Member level to fill a faculty position in its growing Behavioral Medicine Service, which is part of the Supportive Care Medicine Department. Responsibilities include providing psychological services in outpatient and inpatient settings, conducting psychological evaluations and assessments, as well as participating in the clinical, educational, and research activities of the department. The ideal candidate will have clinical and research experience working with adults in a medical and/or oncology setting.

Requirements

Applicants must have a Florida psychology license as a PhD or PsyD or be license eligible and have completed a pre-doctoral internship.  Applicants with a fellowship in behavioral medicine, health psychology, or psycho-oncology preferred.

Moffitt Cancer Center & Research Institute, Florida’s only NCI-designated Comprehensive Cancer Center, is a rapidly growing Center affiliated with the University of South Florida. The Cancer Center is comprised of a large ambulatory care facility, a 206-bed hospital, with a 36-bed blood and marrow transplant program, 20 state of the art operating suites, a 30-bed intensive care unit, a high-volume screening program, and a basic science research facility. The Moffitt Research Institute (MRI) is comprised of approximately 160 Principal Investigators, 58 laboratories, and 306,000 square feet of research space.
