PSYCHO-ONCOLOGY PSYCHOLOGY FACULTY POSITION
MEMORIAL SLOAN-KETTERING (MSK) CANCER CENTER invites applications for a full-time psychologist position in the Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences. This faculty position will focus primarily on clinical care and will also have opportunities for teaching and conducting collaborative research. This position will provide psychological care to MSKs regional sites in Long Island, with an in-person presence one day a week at MSK Nassau and one day a week at MSK Commack. The position will also provide care to patients in Manhattan and will be a mix of in-person and telehealth. Candidates should have clinical experience and appropriate training in working with adult cancer patients and their families. This position will work with cancer patients, and their families and caregivers, with a variety of cancer diagnoses and cancer stages. The Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences currently has over 40 full-time faculty with wide interests in psycho-oncology clinical care, teaching, and research. This search is open to potential candidates at junior levels of career experience and appointments will be made at an academic level commensurate with the appointee’s experience. All faculty hold academic appointments at the Weill Cornell Medical College. Salary is competitive and commensurate with experience.
