  2. Review the current and proposed methods of screening for distress/depression
  3. Gain insight into the merits of combination and algorithm methods
  4. Learn about new computerized and visual-analogue screening tools
  5. Receive a resource pack of additional material


Workshop Description:

For the first time we will provide a workshop on evidence based screening methods for distress in cancer settings. This will take participants from the basics of screening (who, when, how) through advanced methods (combination approaches) and is suitable for any level of experience. We will also review with participants the latest techniques as well as examining who to successfully implement a screening/detection programme. Participants will receive all necessary educational materials.
