IPOS Accepting Applications for the Honorary Position of Co-Editor
The International Psycho-oncology Society Newsletter was launched in 2015 as a quarterly online website publication.
Applications are invited for the Honorary Position of Co-Editor.
One vacancy is currently available in the first instance for an appointment period of two years from April 2017 to March 2019. The applicants must be able to commit to approximately 12 hours per month.
Enthusiasm, interest in the IPOS community, IT and online skills are the major requirements for applicants. Prior editing experience will be valuable but is not a requirement.
Early career psycho-oncologists are encouraged to apply.
The positions provide an opportunity for the two Co-Editors to reach out and become familiar with the IPOS community and our Federated Societies from around the world.
The Co-Editor will work, in the first instance alongside Dr Simone Cheli (Co-Editor), Dr Maggie Watson (IPOS Communications and Publications Committee) and Dr Mary-Jane Esplen (IPOS Website Committee).
Applications should include:
- A brief biosketch
- A summary of your vision for the development of the Newsletter (no more than 400 words)
- Confirmation that you are an IPOS member
Please send items 1 to 3 to Dr. Maggie Watson by email.
Application closing date is 31 March 2017
